3600 Steps, 12+ Odd Kilo Meters, Climbing the Tirupathi - Tirumala Hills, bare foot was always something that I had dreaded. I remember telling many people that would something that I would never be willing to try, even if I did, I might die in my attempt by doing that. Today, by the grace of the lord. I overcame my mental inability and proved myself wrong.
In a rare scenario, the plan just happened over a period of ten minutes. All my activities, underline "all" are meticulously planned, with a thorough check list. Not all plans go perfect, and I have always have Plan B, and Plan C in certain rare and demanding scenario. This was the least of all things I have done in my life, without any plan. I reached out to one of my friends, Manideep, who was planning the trip. In the next few minutes, I booked a tatkal ticket to Renigunta.
The next day, we left together and reached Renigunta by afternoon. This was where I had to run, cross the overhead bridge and entrain & detrain a moving train to Tirupathi. Again, a feat that I never knew I could do. We reached via alternate modes at foothills and after a few minutes started our walk-trip to Tirumala. Among ourselves, we were differentiated by our agility and we got differentiated with our speeds. Few of us, unable or first-timers were slow. Thanks to Sourabh Mishra for staying throughout patiently with us.
With much difficulty I accomplished my mission of the distance. Throughout the walk, our batch Bunty was a great source of fun to walk with. If it had not been for him, I doubt the outcome of my walk-trip. It was the jokes we cracked off his butts and the pranks we played that kept us moving. Butter milk joints gave us energy to push & carry ourselves.
Beyond all this, the most pampered kid in my family, I also managed to accommodate, wash & clean myself in Pedestrian Accommodation Center, a public utility house.
All this has happened, I would strongly say by the will of God! Cos, I would never have wanted to do any of that I've mentioned.
Beyond all this, I realized that Impossibility is a mental disability and there's no limits to one's endurance to go through any extent. I just proved myself wrong, just to myself. Imagine, if it had been anyone else to what extent I might push to prove them wrong about their imposed judgments?
P.S The day before we left, since I was worried as I have no clue about what's to happen, Thallam Bharath assured me, "You'd be my responsibility" And my bro, proved himself to every letter & punctuation of his statement.
