A very important person in my life addresses me as "Guru", not just that it's one of my names but
because I have been chosen as a mentor. A Guru is not someone whom we can choose for selective reasons.
A Guru is needed in all our lives and in order to make us complete. Not all educated minds can be sought after to be a Guru. A Guru is someone who takes a lot of concious effort to fill the gaps of his disciple.
From a disciple's point of view, its unfair to avoid what the mentor initiates to make them complete dismissing that it is not what they seek from the mentor.
A true mentor sees what one is unable to see by themselves, and whether willing or unwilling is bound to make his disciple better.
If you had chosen a Mentor, don't be selective. Because, a Mentor isn't meant to leave those gaps behind in you. He's meant to fill them.
